You might not know that Patti didn’t start off in the boutique industry. She actually started by designing and crafting handmade handbags in her home. She opened a location in Mid-town on Cooper Young and sold her purses wholesale in over 250 stores. In time she felt a desire to move the store closer to home to offer folks a Memphis shopping experience in their own backyard. In 2014 that’s just what she did. Her boutique and gift shop grew to offer not only her one-of-a-kind handbags, but also clothing, jewelry, shoes, gifts, ready-made meals and events. That’s a big enough bill to fill, but during that time she also made 3000 handbags for St. Jude for their holiday catalog and gift store. Giving back is important to Patti. Her store is what it is today because of the people she has invested in and in return, they have helped KSS to become the jewel, the community centered place, we all know it to be.

2020 was a hard year. For everyone. However, it proved to be an incredible springboard for KSS. Patti and her team; Joy, Cherie, Allison, and Marilyn (to name just a few!) broke through walls, literally, to grow and expand in ways they hadn’t dreamt possible. Today when you enter the store, you’re sure to find something to fit your bill. Rowe Casa Organics products, permanent jewelry, home décor, candles, scent diffusers, baby clothes, wedding gifts, shoes, clothing and, of course, her trademark creations such as the recently added Bible bags, are all available for your shopping pleasure.
